Meet Brandon Seitz. Brandon has worked in every department of the store (except for the Floral Shoppe and Produce) since he started here in September of 2001. Having spent personal time learning about wine, as well as earning a dual degree of Food Business Management and Marketing at The Ohio State University, Brandon's interest in the world of food and wine have truly been an asset to our team. These days, Brandon assists customers in our newest department: our State Liquor Agency.

This feature of our website introduces you to some of our key associates, from the Professional Foodies making and serving your foods in the back of the store to the excellent team of Customer Specialists in the front of the store working hard to bring in special items and to make sure you are out the door when you're ready to leave.

Meet Josh Thomas. Many of our best people start out as baggers when they're old enough to get their first job, and then work their way up to positions that require more responsibility. Josh Thomas is one of those people. His talent, attention to detail and willingness to help customers were just a few of the things that we noticed in September of 2003 when he started working here. Josh is now an integral part of our Meat & Seafood Team. You will see him filling the cases, assisting customers and making sure the entire department is running smoothly. He's been known to puchase at least one of every new product that comes into the department, so that he can recommend cooking and grilling methods to people who ask. Josh is a wonderful asset to The Hills Market, and we're pleased to feature him.

Meet Myrna Aukerman. Myrna does not like having a lot of attention thrown her way, so it took a little prodding to get her to allow us to feature her as one of the most valuable team members at The Hills Market. She's been working with us since May of 2003 and she is right at home (and much needed) in our Produce Department. Myrna runs our Salad Bar, stocks our bagged salads, places the Marzetti orders and cuts vegetables and fruits for trays and platters. She often lends a helping hand to Hills Own Floral Shoppe and the folks in the Delicatessen, as well. Myrna is a total joy to work with and a key behind-the-scenes player in our store.

This week, we'd like to introduce you to Matt Mitchell.

New Designs in the Floral Shoppe

Our new Floral Director, Jane Hoch, is a resident of the Worthington Hills. She’s been with our store for 6 years and working with flowers for over 30 years. With an educational background in design and an eye for both color and form, her designs have brought an eclectic and modern look to the Floral Shoppe. Look for a few changes in the department, as Jane implements new programs and brings in some unique new flowers.

Call Jane for: weddings, bereavement, celebrations, special orders, delivery and more.

New produce products, such as decorative cabbage, are used in modern seasonal arrangements.

Shape and size are a few of the design elements used in Jane's floral design.
