Meet Our People

It's the people at The Hills Market that make us like no other market. This feature of our website introduces you to some of our key associates, from the Professional Foodies making and serving your foods in the back of the store to the excellent team of Customer Specialists in the front of the store working hard to bring in special items and to make sure you are out the door when you're ready to leave.

Meet Josh Thomas. Many of our best people start out as baggers when they're old enough to get their first job, and then work their way up to positions that require more responsibility. Josh Thomas is one of those people. His talent, attention to detail and willingness to help customers were just a few of the things that we noticed in September of 2003 when he started working here. Josh is now an integral part of our Meat & Seafood Team. You will see him filling the cases, assisting customers and making sure the entire department is running smoothly. He's been known to puchase at least one of every new product that comes into the department, so that he can recommend cooking and grilling methods to people who ask. Josh is a wonderful asset to The Hills Market, and we're pleased to feature him.

We’re pleased to be able to offer All Natural Ohio Whole Beef Tenderloin and Rib Roast for the Holiday Season. Because we have a limited number of these dry-aged, antibiotic-free, locally-grown whole beef tenderloins and rib roasts available to us, we are taking special orders so that you - our devoted customers - have the first opportunity to have this product on your holiday table. All Natural Ohio Beef A New Favorite at The Hills Market

We know quality when we see it. Not too long ago, Meat Director Jeremy Moore and a team from The Hills Market took a field trip to Ashland, Ohio to investigate a new All Natural Ohio Beef program. We visited several family farms to see first-hand how the cattle are raised and meet the farmers who care for them. From beginning to end, we were able to observe every detail of the process - something that working with family farmers allows us to do. Needless to say, we were impressed.

As a result, we now carry Ohio-produced beef that meets the high standards of The Hills Market. This premium beef from Ashland, Ohio (and surrounding areas) is available in the highest grades and is dry chilled for optimum flavor and tenderness. It has no added hormones, no antibiotics and no artificial ingredients or additives.

You'll find our All Natural Ohio Beef in the meat case, as well as in our Chef's Case. (Our Famous Hills Own Meatloaves are now exclusively made with All Natural Ohio Beef.) As with all of our beef products, All Natural Ohio Beef can be cut to order and our grounds are done in house, continuing the excellent service that our customers have come to expect from The Hills Market Meat Department.
